The importance of emotional healing

Life isn’t easy. None of us was given a manual on how to go through life, what to avoid, what to embrace. We’re all going through the same learning strategy: trial and error. Society has put things in place, which is either deemed right or wrong. We try our utmost best to live by these rules; however, the most difficult part of life is dealing with how things make us feel and then having to deal with these feelings.
There are moments in our life when a familiar feeling or pain reminds us that we need to mend, accept or move on from a particular situation. Life feels like it’s going at 100mph, making it difficult for us to spend time on ourselves, understand ourselves a little bit better and improve.
Improving yourself doesn’t always come down to emotional healing, but it plays an important role in your success. On the contrary, I read a book called Surrounded by Idiots, and it explains how different people have different characteristics by categorising them under either being; red, yellow, green, or blue. It sounds a bit crazy how you can just be put into a group like that and it’s something you should just accept right? This book categorises people based on their characteristics, for example, somebody who is bossy also may be a risk-taker and also may be a successful CEO.
