Fathers Day without a Father

This post is to help people understand their friends and family members who don’t have present fathers a bit better on Fathers day.

Today is going to be a weird day for a lot of people.

People whose dads walked out on them.

People who never met their fathers.

People who have had a bad relationship with their father since young.

People who lost their fathers at a young age so don’t really know their fathers.

People who saw their fathers once in a blue moon.

People whose fathers were purposely not active in their life.

People who recently lost their father.

Understand that watching people’s Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat posts of them with their fathers is going to be hard for some people.

Not out of jealousy, but from a pain that they never experienced that father love.

For sons, a father is a big part of their growth and maturity. Every little boy grows into a young man and then a father himself in the future. An absent father can completely deteriorate a young boy’s confidence in the kind of man he wants to be. He doesn’t know. He hasn’t actively seen one growing up, so what does he do?
