Attributes of a High-Value Woman in Islam

We often hear about the high-value attributes of a man and what women should be looking for in a husband. But we rarely hear about high-value women.

In this article, I am specifying these high-value female attributes in relation to Islam, however, these are characteristics that every woman should possess.

Self-Respect

In a world where people are highly judgemental and always have something to say, self-respect can protect you from being spoken about negatively. Respect yourself so that others have no choice but to respect you.

Without honour you lose modesty, you lose worth and you lose your value.

Soft Speech

Speak positively, ensuring that your tongue is always kept sweet. Do not indulge in hateful or judgemental remarks, or constantly pointing out other people’s faults.

We are all human and we all have our ways and make mistakes, therefore we should not judge others on their trials through life.

Do Not Gossip

Stay away from speaking bad about others, bringing them down, spreading rumours, or even looking down on them. You are no better than the other person and it is wrong…
